Cancellation of orders may be made initially by telephone contact, or e-mail, however, following this, Fastest Work will need formal notification in writing to the company’s postal address. The client will then be invoiced for all work completed over and above the non-refundable deposit that will have been made at the time of first ordering. The balance of monies due must be paid within 30 days. Please note: any cancellation which is not formally confirmed in writing and received by Fastest Work within 14 days of such instruction being issued, will be liable for the full quoted cost of the project.

At FastestWork, we understand that circumstances may arise that require the cancellation of a project or service engagement. To ensure a fair and transparent process for both freelancers and clients, we have established the following Cancellation Policy:

  1. Client-initiated Cancellations:

    • Clients may initiate cancellations of projects or services booked with freelancers on FastestWork. However, clients are encouraged to review the cancellation policies set forth by the freelancer before initiating a cancellation request.
  2. Cancellation Fees:

    • Freelancers have the discretion to establish cancellation fees or penalties for clients who cancel projects or services after they have been initiated or agreed upon. These fees are intended to compensate freelancers for any time, resources, or opportunity costs incurred due to the cancellation.
  3. Cancellation Process:

    • Clients must communicate their intention to cancel a project or service to the freelancer through FastestWork's messaging system or other designated communication channels. Freelancers should respond promptly to cancellation requests and confirm the cancellation in writing.
  4. Refund Consideration:

    • In cases where clients have made payments for services that have not yet been rendered, freelancers may consider issuing partial or full refunds at their discretion, in accordance with their refund policies. Clients should refer to the freelancer's refund policy for more information.
  5. Freelancer-initiated Cancellations:

    • Freelancers may initiate cancellations of projects or services under certain circumstances, such as unforeseen emergencies, inability to fulfill the agreed-upon terms, or other valid reasons. Freelancers are encouraged to communicate openly and transparently with clients regarding any cancellations initiated by them.
  6. Communication and Documentation:

    • Both freelancers and clients are expected to maintain clear and documented communication throughout the cancellation process. This includes outlining the reasons for cancellation, discussing any applicable fees or refunds, and confirming the cancellation agreement in writing.
  7. Dispute Resolution:

    • In the event of a dispute arising from a cancellation, FastestWork provides dispute resolution services to help facilitate fair and equitable resolutions for both parties. Freelancers and clients are encouraged to utilize this service if they are unable to reach a resolution independently.
  8. Modification of Terms:

    • FastestWork reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is the responsibility of users to review this policy periodically for updates.
